Sketch 105: Faces

Coucou !Enfin j'ai eu un peu de temps pour illustrer le sketch Scrapidées de cette semaine ! Ca faisait longtemps que je n'avais plus fait de page, ... eh oui toujours le même problème!
Voici ma page aujourd'hui !
I finally had a little time today to make my page for Scrapidées's sketch this week! It has been a long time... time is always the problem!
So, here's my layout for today!

And if you're wondering how to make this cool looking background, here's a small tutorial so you can try it too!

 Crumple the silk paper several times and gently unfold it.

Apply glue (glue stick, not liquid glue) on your sheet and glue the silk paper very roughly.

Paint the surface with gesso using a fidelity card. 

The texture of the silk paper is enhanced with the paint.

Once it's dry, you can paint another layer of color, collage paper... and apply another light layer of gesso to unify. It's all about layers! 

Finish by applying a coat of gel medium so the silk paper becomes more rigid and will not tear... unless you want it to !

Sweet child of mine

Hier j'ai présenté un mini album paperbag en atelier à notre association Scrap à la Fraise, c'était une super journée patouille avec la peinture aquarelle :)
Voici les photos de ce projet (matériel October Afternoon, Jenny Bowlin, Hambly, gesso, aquarelles, glimmer mist Candy Apple Red, paperbags, liège, kraft, rubans)

Hi everybody! Yesterday I teached this paperbag album at our scrapbook group Scrap à la Fraise, it was a great day having fun and playing with watercolor paints :)
Here are the photos of the project (supplies October afternoon, Jenny Bowlin , Hambly, gesso, watercolor paints, glimmer mist Candy Apple Red, paperbags, corkboard, kraft paper, ribbons)

L'album est composé de 4 sacs assemblés entre eux.

The album structure is made from 4 paperbags assembled together.

A l'intérieur de chaque sac, se cache un tag en liège

A corkboard tag is hidden inside each bag.

j'ai été tagguée par mes copines Françoise, Céline et Isa, mais je n'avais pas encore eu le temps d'y répondre! Il fallait trouver sept choses de la couleur demandée, alors c'était le bleu pour Françoise, le violet pour Céline et libre pour Isa!

A part ça, j'ai eu un peu de temps pour faire quelques pages du journal de Louise, j'étais restée à la page de 2 mois, et elle arrive presque à 5 déjà !!

Sinon, j'ai plein d'idées en ce moment, des créations, des petits tutoriels que je voudrais vous proposer... me manque plus que le temps pour le faire!
Samedi, nous nous retrouvons à l'assoc pour l'atelier "paperbag & aquarelles" que j'anime, alors lundi j'aurai quand même une création à vous montrer!

Pas très productive....

Bonjour!
Ce n'est pas très animé sur mon blog en ce moment, pas trop le temps de faire quoi que ce soit, surtout depuis que j'ai repris le travail début septembre! J'espère pouvoir scrapper bientôt, sachant que je n'ai toujours pas terminé mon album de grossesse et j'ai commencé le journal de Louise, et j'aimerais bien m'y tenir !!

Not too much action on my blog right now! Actually I don't have time to create right now, and even more since I've been back to work on Sept.1th. I hope I can do something very soon... I still have my pregnancy journal to finish and I've started a journal for Louise, and I really want to do it well !
